I am a photographer, sketcher, and watercolor painter. I offer training on learning how to use your camera more efficiently as well as on sketching and watercolor painting. In addition, I sell originals and prints of my watercolor paintings.
OK, I’m finished! Since January 1st, I’ve tried to get my arms around this 52-week project idea and it is just not working for me. Somehow it is not motivating me to make images, even with some good theme selections. I find I just prefer the image-a-day routine that really kept me motivated.
Week five is the best so far! As I wrote recently, I've finally started planning weekly themes for this year-long project so they are doable, so they are in line with what I or my wife and I will be doing during a given week.
"The devil is in the details," as the saying goes. And, indeed, it is, as I learned recently. I have most things organized now for when I want to video record an episode in my basement studio for any of my three series.
We watched our 17-month old grandson for a week plus. I returned him home by train.
Week three of this project was rather lackluster as last week's was. I believe I need to pick the themes I select for a week with a bit more thought to what I'll be doing.
My second week didn't live up to my first. I didn't take many shots during week one but I was happy with what I got. I took even fewer shots during the past week....
Instagram is still a solution in search of a purpose for me. Over the past two years, I have simply been posting my daily photos on my Instagram feed, @billbooz...However, I created another Instagram account with the name @boozphotolearning. This one is a bit easier in that I know I want to post images that help viewers with their photography.
Last Wednesday I took down my flashes and replaced them with my constant light fluorescent bulbs so I could start recording video for a few episodes of my Photography & Technology Tools series.
