Making Videos - 1 Year in and Lessons Learned

First, making videos is fun. For me it’s something new to learn and I always love learning new things related to photography and technology. Plus, I love gadgets and gear! Second, though if you keep it simple it can be easy, making videos is not a piece of cake...However, there are several more, perhaps helpful, Lessons Learned I'd like to share with you.

Wow! This Cooper Slim is a Great Bag!

I know. I know! I've only had the darn thing a few days and have only taken it out packed for two days, so how can I make such a claim with so little time with it? Well, because it's a great bag! Seriously, though, if you're a photographer with a bag problem like me, you can tell pretty quickly if a bag is going work, to really fit 'most' of your needs (no bag can meet 'all' of one's needs) or is just going to be okay.

RIP 52-Week Project - You Aren’t My Cup of Tea

OK, I’m finished! Since January 1st, I’ve tried to get my arms around this 52-week project idea and it is just not working for me. Somehow it is not motivating me to make images, even with some good theme selections. I find I just prefer the image-a-day routine that really kept me motivated.
